Nice and no weird smell. Seems well sealed. Tried and hot drinks lasts for ~2 hours & keep warm until next morning if filled with completely freshly boiled water. Easy to clean by hand (ps i never use dishwasher) it’s replacing old thermos that has lost their ability to keep drinks hot for a long period of time. Happy with it so far.
